Healthy Elimination of All-pests Long-term (HEAL) Campaign
The Healthy Elimination of All-pests Long-term (HEAL) Campaign is a special project of HABC that will rid public housing of rats, which are associated with asthma and other health issues. The program was implemented in 16 public housing developments, beginning with Douglass Homes on November 1, 2017.
HABC’s HEAL campaign partners include: the HABC Resident Advisory Board, DPW’s Rat Rubout Program, Baltimore City DHCD Housing Code Enforcement, the Health Department’s Community Asthma Program, and The U.S. Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD).
