Office of Construction Services (HABCo)
HABCo is HABC's construction management unit and "in house" general contractor. HABCo's construction base has grown from specifically the rehabilitation for HABC projects, to providing services for other governmental clients including of the Baltimore City Department of Housing and Community Development (DHCD) and the Baltimore City Department of Public Works (DPW).
However, HABCo is primarily responsible to work with the Engineering and Capital Improvements and the Energy & Environmental Programs Departments to provide construction and construction services to HABC. This includes the renovation and rehabilitation of HABC properties, site work and demolition projects.
