Keening in on an interest of writing since high school, a degree in Journalism with a concentration in Broadcasting only made sense to act out her desire to story-tell through text. Prior to walking across the graduating stage at Morgan State University, she was writing for popular and historic Baltimore-based publications, such as The Baltimore Times and The Afro-American newspaper.

Creating journeys through writing expanded in 2018 when she self-published her first book for children, Mallory! The Alley Cat, written to motivate youth who live in/with unideal circumstances.

Aside from working and investing her energy in social media management, text editing, video editing and creating podcast productions—building and launching her own cosmetic line has been an extremely proud venture for her.

All in all, she is excited to contribute to the goals of the communication team at HABC.
