HOUSING CHOICE VOUCHER PROGRAM
APPLICATIONS FOR PROJECT BASED WAITING LIST FOR NON-ELDERLY PERSONS WITH DISABILITIES
Beginning Wednesday, December 8, 2021, the Housing Authority of Baltimore City (“HABC”) will be accepting applications from non-elderly persons with disabilities who would qualify for and are interested in leasing one-bedroom dwelling units.
Listed below are the requirements for the dwelling units
- One (1) bedroom units ONLY
- Applicants must be a person with disabilities who is under the age of SIXTY-TWO (62) and would qualify for a one-bedroom unit .
- Applicants must be eligible for the Housing Choice Voucher Program .
PERSONS IN HOUSEHOLD:
BEDROOM SIZE | MINIMUM NUMBER | MAXIMUM NUMBER |
1 | 1 | 2 (Head-of-household and spouse, or significant other only) |
HABC will put your name on the waiting list for the Project Based Program after you submit a complete application and you meet the age and bedroom size requirements.
When your application reaches the top of the Project Based waiting list, the Management Agent from the housing development that has available dwelling units and the HCVP office will contact you to determine your eligibility

HABC will only be accepting applications for these units. If you are interested you must complete the online application and submit no later than close of business on March 31st, 2023.

If you are unable to complete the application online, please call (443) 984-2222 to request an application to be mailed to you. Applications returned by mail must be postmarked with a date no later than, March 31st, 2023. Please submit mailed applications to:
