Today our office of Resident Services held their Expungement Information Session at Pleasant View Gardens. The presentation included the basic legal elements of expungement. What types of cases can be expunged, the exceptions, filing procedure and common court practices. It also explained what happens after a court orders expungement, how to demonstrate that your record was cleared, caveats and things to watch out for after filing for expungement.
